How to create an account on Dadeschools Portal

To create an account on Dadeschools Portal, you will need to follow these steps:

  1. Go to the M-DCPS website at https://www.dadeschools.net/
  2. Click on the “Student Portal” or “Parent Portal” link at the top of the page, depending on whether you are a student or a parent.
  3. On the login page, click on the “Create Account” button.
  4. Enter the required information, including your name, email address, and a unique username and password.
  5. Select a security question and provide an answer in case you forget your password in the future.
  6. Agree to the terms and conditions and click the “Submit” button.

Once you have created your account, you will be able to log in to the Dadeschools Portal using your username and password. You can access your child’s academic records and communicate with their teachers, view class schedules and assignments, and access other resources available on the portal.

How to reset password for students

To reset your password on Dadeschools Portal as a student, you can follow these steps:

  2. Click on the “Forgot Password?” link located underneath the login button.
  3. Enter your Dadeschools student ID and your date of birth.
  4. Type the verification code shown on the screen into the “Verification Code” box.
  5. Click the “Submit” button.
  6. Answer the security question that you selected during account creation.
  7. Enter your new password and confirm it by typing it again in the “Confirm New Password” box.
  8. Click the “Submit” button to save your new password.
