EGSUD Portal

EGSUD Portal is a web-based platform that provides access to various resources and applications for the students and staff of Elk Grove Unified School District, a top performing district in California and the nation. You can use the portal to sign in with your EGUSD account¹, access district information, documents and resources, view your personnel information, credentials, degrees, pay stubs/history and W2 information, and more.

How do I sign up for an EGUSD account?

To sign up for an EGUSD account, you need to enroll your child for school in the Elk Grove Unified School District.

  • You can do this online by visiting the district’s website and following the instructions for enrollment.

  • You will need to provide proof of residency, immunization records, birth certificate and other documents as required. If you need assistance with enrollment, you can call the ECE Department at (916) 686-7595.

  • Once you enroll your child, you will receive an EGUSD account that you can use to access the portal and other resources.

  • If you are a staff member of EGUSD, you can register for an account on EDJOIN by filling out a form with your personal and professional information.

  • You will also need to provide a valid email address and create a username and password.

  • After you register, you will be able to access the portal and other applications with your EGUSD account.

What are the benefits of having an EGUSD account?

Having an EGUSD account allows you to access various resources and applications that are designed to support your child’s learning and development. Some of the benefits of having an EGUSD account are:

  • You can access your child’s grades, attendance, assignments, and other academic information through the Synergy ParentVUE portal.

  • You can access online curriculum resources such as Wonders, Think Central, i-Ready, and more through the ClassLink portal.

  • You can communicate with your child’s teachers and school staff through email and other tools.

  • You can access district information, documents and resources through the Intranet website.

  • You can view your personnel information, credentials, degrees, pay stubs/history and W2 information if you are a staff member of EGUSD.

How do I reset my password if I forget it?

To reset your password if you forget it, you have a few options depending on what type of account you have.

  • If you have a ParentVUE account, you can click on the More Options tab under the blue login button on the EGUSD ParentVUE login page.

  • Then select Forgot Password, enter your primary email address or user name, and you will be emailed a link to change your password.

  • If you have a staff account, you can use the EGUSD Self Service Account Management System to change your password online.

  • You will need to enter your user name and answer some security questions to verify your identity. If you have a Microsoft account, you can use the Microsoft account recovery page to reset your password. You will need to enter your email address, phone number or Skype name and follow the instructions to get a security code and create a new password
