Clear Browsing History in Google Chrome for Desktop
To erase your Chrome browsing history on Windows, Mac, or Linux, click the three-dot menu symbol in the upper-right corner of the browser, hover your mouse cursor over “More Tools,” and select “Clear Browsing Data.” You can also open this screen by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Delete on Windows or Command+Shift+Delete on a Mac.
On a Mac, the backspace button is labeled “Delete.” The Delete key, which is located next to the Home and Edit keys, does not function.
To remove your whole browser history, select “the beginning of time” in the top-right drop-down box and tick the “Browsing history” option. You can also clear other sensitive data from this page, such as your download history, cookies, and browser cache.

Clear Google Chrome Browsing History on Android, iPhone, or iPad
On Android, iPhone, or iPad, touch the three-dot menu symbol > Settings > Privacy and Security > remove internet Data to remove your internet history.
You must select a time range to delete from the drop-down list at the top of the screen. To clear everything, choose “beginning of time.”
Check the “Browsing history” box and then hit the “Clear Data” or “Clear Browsing Data” button. You can also clear other forms of personal data from this page, such as cookies and cached files.

Clear Browsing History in Safari on iPhone and iPad
To erase your browsing history in Safari on an iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > Safari > erase History and Website Data. To confirm your selection, tap the “Clear History and Data” button.
This button deletes all sensitive browsing data, including cookies and cache.

Clear Browsing History in Mozilla Firefox
To erase your browsing history in Firefox on the desktop, navigate to History > erase Recent History by clicking the three-line menu symbol in the top-right corner of the browser. You can also open this tool by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Delete on Windows or Command+Shift+Delete on a Mac.
Select “Everything” at the top of the window and check “Browsing & Download History” in the extensive list of items to clear to wipe your entire browsing history. You can also clear additional sorts of private data, such as cookies, browser cache, offline website data, and website-specific preferences, from this page.
Clear Browsing History in Microsoft Edge
Click the Three-Dot Menu > History > Three-Dot Menu Button > remove Browsing Data in Microsoft Edge to remove your browsing history. You can also open these choices by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Delete on Windows or Command+Shift+Delete on Mac.
Check the “Browsing History” box and then click “Clear.” You can also clear additional forms of private data from here, such as your download history, cached data, cookies, and saved tabs. Simply select the type of data to be deleted and press the “Clear” button.
Clear Browsing History in Safari on a Mac
On a Mac, choose History > remove History from the menu bar at the top of your screen to remove your browsing history. Select the time period from which you wish to remove history and then click “Clear History.” Select “all history” to delete everything.
Safari will remove all of your browsing history, cookies, cached files, and other browsing-related data.
Internet Explorer
To delete your browsing history in Internet Explorer, go to the Tools menu and select Safety > Delete Browsing History, or press Ctrl+Shift+Delete.
Check the “History” box here and then click “Delete.” You can also erase additional sorts of private data from this page, such as transient Internet files, download history, and cookies.
