1. Launch a web browser and go to: inside.mtsac.edu
2. Enter your username and your password on the Secure Access Login. This is your MSAC domain password that you use to log on to the Mt. SAC system.
3. Faculty logging in for the first time will be required to answer five security questions and will be asked to change their password.
4. Click the Login button.
5. To log out, click on the Logout button on the upper right of the page at the top.
6. If you have problems logging in, please call the help desk at extension 4357 (it spells H E L P).

• The first step is to enter the username and select the student type, then click “Submit.” The second step is to answer seven challenge questions that come directly from the application, then click “Submit.”
• In the third step, students need to write down their Mt. SAC Portal Account Claim Code, which is case sensitive, before advancing to the next screen.
• Then, click “Login” to redirect to the Mt. SAC Portal.
• In the fourth step, students need to re-enter their username and the Account Claim Code (Password) they just received.
• For future logins, they will use the password they are about to create. Click “Sign In.” In the fifth step, students need to create a new password.
• They will be prompted to change their password. In the “Current Password” field, enter the Account Claim Code they just received. Now enter a new password in the next two fields.

This new password will be used for future logins.
