Nelson Mandela University is a comprehensive university located in South Africa with campuses in the cities of Port Elizabeth and George. How to access the student portal off-campus

• Go to: https://students.mandela.ac.za
• Username: mandela\s123456789
• Password: network password that you set yourself or that was given to you. Your password will expire after 60 Days. Please change it when it expires.

Nelson Mandela University Student Mail

Nelson Mandela University provides student email accounts to all students upon admission. To access the email account off-campus, students need to go to https://outlook.office.com and enter their username, which is their student number followed by @mandela.ac.za. Students will then be directed to a Nelson Mandela University login screen where they need to enter their password.

The password is either the network password that was given to the student or one that they set themselves. The Office 365 ProPlus Software for Students license allows students to install the software on up to five devices. NMU Student Portal

If a student forgets their password, they can reset it using the "Forgot Password" option on the login page. There are also FAQs available on how to access and manage the student email account, including changing passwords and retrieving forgotten passwords

Step 1:
Go to: https://outlook.office.com

Step 2:
Username: s123456789@mandela.ac.za (i.e. your student number @mandela.ac.za)

Step 3:
You will be directed to a Nelson Mandela University logon screen.

Step 4:
Enter your Username: your student number @mandela.ac.za (eg. s123456789@mandela.ac.za)

Step 5:
Enter your Password: network password that you set yourself or that was given to you.
