Student Self Service UFS – University of the Free State Student Portal. The University of the Free State (UFS) provides a self-service portal for its students. The UFS Oracle or self-service is an online portal that enables students to register and perform school activities throughout their time at the university. Student Self Service UFS 

Students can access academic records, financial records, timetables, proof of registration, housing and residence affairs, UFS blackboard (eLearn), Ufs4life emails, library, exam results, and protection services through the student portal. Student Self Service UFS 

To log into the UFS Oracle self-service portal, students need to navigate to pssa.ufs.ac.za and enter their UFS username or student number and password. If a student’s password is reset, the UFS will issue them with a temporary password that they must change the first time they log into the system. They will need their cellphone to receive the One-Time-Pin.

UFS Student Self-Service is primarily for new and continuing/current students at the University of the Free State. UFS Student Self-Service enables you to upload your supporting documentation if you are a new student. Check the status of your academic application. (This will let you know the most recent decision made and if we need additional documents from you.) Check the progress of your Financial Aid Application (NSFAS) or, if applicable, your Scholarship and Bursary application; look at your residency status, if any, and Look up your personal data (eg: addresses and phone numbers)

In order to see and print your fees statement, check your schedule and locations, read and edit your personal information, check the status of your application, and make payments, you must be a continuing or current student.

HOW TO REGISTER/LOGIN TO THE UFS STUDENT SELF SERVICE Student Self Service UFS

• STEP 1: Log in with your student number and password on the Oracle PeopleSoft system .
• STEP 2: Click on the Student Center tile on the UFS Student Homepage.
• STEP 3: Click on the Enrolment link on the left side of the page under “Academics”.
• STEP 4: Select the term (semester) for which you wish to affect changes.
• STEP 5: Click on “Continue”.
• STEP 6: Click on the Add or Drop Modules buttons to select the required action.
• STEP 7: Select the modules you want to add or drop.
• STEP 8: Confirm your selection by clicking on the Submit button.
• STEP 9: Confirm that the changes were affected on the screen and also verify on your Proof of Registration.
