Blackboard Learn is the University of Arkansas‘ learning management system Students, faculty, and instructors can participate in classes delivered online or access online materials and activities to complement face-to-face classroom experiences using Blackboard Learn
Faculty can find teaching resources and development opportunities on the TIPS website. Support for Blackboard Learn is available 7 days a week through the IT Help Desk. UARK Blackboard
Blackboard specialists are available until midnight on Sundays by calling 479-575-HELP (4357) and selecting the option for Blackboard support or emailing bbhelp@uark.edu
Clickers are handheld devices that enable instructors to pose questions to students and immediately collect and view the responses of the entire class. They are often used to give quizzes, take polls, open discussions, and take attendance. Some classes require the use of student response devices, often called clickers. UARK Blackboard
Blackboard Collaborate Ultra is a web conferencing tool that allows you to create a virtual classroom, office, or meeting space in order to communicate with users on campus or anywhere in the world. You can add Collaborate Ultra to your course content menu by entering your course and clicking on Tool Link.
Name your content area “Collaborate Ultra” so that students can easily find and access it. Click on the drop-down menu, select Blackboard Collaborate Ultra from the options, then check the box to make it available to users. You will then be directed to the session list where you can start scheduling sessions
UARK email
UARK email is provided by Microsoft 365 Outlook. To access UARK email and calendar, log in with your full @uark.edu email address and UARK password. Students can log into office.uark.edu to install Outlook or use the web version. The university provides Listserv mailing lists for distributing emails to subscribers
Email security is important to protect sensitive data by recognizing and preventing phishing scams, managing junk mail, and sending safe email
UARK email login
To log in to UARK email, users must use their full @uark.edu email address and UARK password. This is required to protect institutional and personal data
Students can log into office.uark.edu to install Outlook or use the web version. Instructions for using Outlook, including device setup, are available online at About UARK Email With a single email and calendar platform for all, students and faculty can take advantage of streamlined collaboration, including integrated file sharing and calendars. Outlook also provides access to the campuswide address book, allowing students to look up any @uark.edu address
UARK Blackboard email password reset
To reset a UARK email password, users can go to the Password Manager website at password.uark.edu and click “Forgot Password“. They will then be prompted to enter their username and an Authorization Code, which they can obtain by submitting a Request Form to Reset UARK Password.
Alternatively, users can contact the IT Help Desk or create a ticket at help.uark.edu, or email UA Connect Help at uachelp@uark.edu. It is important to remember that it is a violation of the Code of Computing Practices to share your UARK password with anyone for any reason.

The University of Arkansas Libraries provide access to information that supports and fosters creativity, study, teaching and research. The libraries offer OneSearch, which provides simple, one-stop searching for books and e-books, articles and journals, video and audio, manuscripts, and more.

UARK library hours
Mullins Library hours are 10am – 2am on weekdays and 7:30am – 2am on weekends. The Chemistry and Biochemistry Library is located in the Chemistry Building and is open today from 8am – 7pm. Special Collections is open by appointment only today from 9am – 12pm and from 1pm – 4pm.
The Physics Library is located in the Physics Building and is open today from 8am – 7pm. David W. Mullins Library is the main library facility on campus, where the majority of the University Libraries‘ central offices, study space, and collections are available.
It is open during weekdays from 7:30 am to midnight, Saturdays from noon to midnight, and Sundays from noon to midnight.
