Position Objective
Principal ICT officer I – ICT Security and BCM ensure information security Management systems and Cyber security frameworks are in place to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information systems deployed in the Bank to provide services to our customers.
Responsibilities• Developing and overseeing extensive information security plans and initiatives that complement corporate objectives.
• Creates and keeps up-to-date information security policies, standards, and guidelines in a document structure.
• Assure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information assets within the Bank's ownership or control.
• Effectively communicate information security rules and awareness campaigns to other department managers, the organization's workforce, and other staff members.
• Create and manage a budget for information security, and keep an eye on how much is spent each fiscal year.
• Investigate new security flaws and dangers, then advise management on suitable defenses.
• Promotes information security maturity, reviews it with stakeholders, and facilitates the creation of metrics and reporting frameworks to assess the efficacy and efficiency of the information security management program.
• Establishes a structure for roles and duties pertaining to information ownership, responsibility, classification, and asset protection.
• Verify that all IT departments are in compliance with the appropriate application of security measures, cyber resilience, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Provide a report on non-conformities, improvement efforts, and the Information Security Management System's (ISMS) performance.
• Ensure that the Risk Treatment Plan and Information Security Risk Assessment are completed and updated on the scheduled intervals.
• Oversees the coordination of all ICT internal and external audit engagements and follows up with all stakeholders regarding the audit findings.
• Provide senior management with advice on all matters pertaining to information security and cyberspace.
• Verify that the Information Security Management System complies with ISO 27001 Standard requirements and implements best practices from other standards, including PCI-DSS, COBIT, CIS, ITIL, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Chooses an operational model and information security strategy after consulting with relevant parties. This model is in line with the risk management strategy and compliance monitoring of non-digital risk areas.
• Take the lead in accomplishing the information security goals and targets with the information security team and champions.
• Manage and oversee bank-wide business continuity plans, which include risk assessments and business impact analyses.
• Create and keep up a program for business continuity management.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Education:
- Possessing a master's degree from any accredited university in one of the following disciplines: computer science, information technology, computer engineering, cybersecurity, information security, artificial intelligence, data science, electronics engineering, telecommunication engineering, or digital forensics, along with ten years of relevant work experience. It will be advantageous to have a professional qualification related to ICT.
