The incumbent is tasked with overseeing the production process, regulating materials to ensure adherence to product specifications, and conducting a range of material and product tests at various production phases in accordance with the quality plan. Additionally, follow-up and recommendations should adhere to the JTI quality standards.

Requirements

  • Regular sample collection and documentation for process verification and quality assurance (QA) analysis in accordance with the JTI QA Manual and Quality Plan, as well as process control (including visual inspection and physical measurements) as specified in the JTI Quality manual and Quality plan.
  • Deliver a timely product quality feedback report to the MP technical team and the rest of the Quality team at the conclusion of each shift in order to facilitate the planning of corrective and preventative actions. At the conclusion of their shift, they are obligated to submit a Corrective Action Request Form (QMF 025) for any unresolved issues. Examine the origins of nonconformities in accordance with the QUIP procedure/work instructions and the JTI QA Manual in order to reduce the number of nonconforming products on the market.
  • In order to prevent NTM and blend mix, adhere to the Change Over procedure during pre-production, start-up, material testing, and prototype development in conjunction with shift supervisors, machine operators, and technicians.
  • Ensure that every quality control instrument is operational and that calibration tests are conducted in accordance with the instrument manual and applicable procedures. Notify QC Technical Support of any nonconforming equipment and verify the product following machine maintenance.
  • Before utilizing them in production, ensure that all incoming materials from the receiving warehouse have been thoroughly inspected.
  • Conduct data collection, recording, analysis, and timely reporting for all assigned projects, including but not limited to NPD, process control, machine qualification, and equipment calibration, utilizing a defined QC database.
  • To prevent injuries and illness, employees must exercise reasonable care for their own health and safety as well as the health and safety of others who may be impacted by their actions or inactions. In this regard, employees should collaborate with their employers on health and safety issues.
  • Carry out any additional responsibilities delegated to you by your immediate supervisor.
